WoW ~ Week 10

This Wednesday I actually have another loss to report! I am down another 1 1/2 pounds!! =) I was actually surprised, since I haven't really been "trying" since Sunday, but I think it has become a habit to watch my portion sizes and avoid over eating... Combined with a bit of exercise, it seems to be working!

My Summary:
  • Week Ten Weight Loss/Gain: -1.5 pounds
  • Inches Loss/Gain: -1.25 inches
  • Overall Results: -10.5 pounds and -10 inches
Head on over to Regina's to see everyone's stats.

WoW ~ Week 9

Well, not much to report this Wednesday. I weigh the exact same as last week. I had lost 1 1/2 pounds by last Friday, but I quickly gained it back on Saturday (Baby Shower Luncheon), Sunday (White Chocolate Mocha, Carl's Jr. Burger, and Trader Joe's Snacks), Monday (Pasta and Bread for lunch), and Tuesday (Bunco Appetizers). The plus side is I don't weigh more than I did last week, I just don't weigh less either... I'm determined to get back on track. In fact, we just got home from walking!

My Summary:

  • Week Nine Weight Loss/Gain: ±0 pounds
  • Inches Loss/Gain: ±0 inches
  • Overall Results: -9 pounds and -8.75 inches

WoW ~ Week 8

It's Wednesday, and time for me to report this weeks results. This past week, I only exercised twice, but I've been making healthier food choices and eating lots of lean protein, only whole grains (for the most part), lots of vegetables, some fruit, and staying away from sugar. I feel so much healthier, and as a result, I lost another 1 1/2 pounds. It has taken 8 weeks, but I have now lost 9 pounds and I am getting closer to being at a very healthy weight for me... I still would like to lose another 10-15 pounds, as well as build more muscle, but it is starting to seem like an achievable goal!

My Summary:

  • Week Eight Weight Loss/Gain: -1.5 pounds
  • Inches Loss/Gain: -1.75 inches
  • Overall Results: -9 pounds and -8.75 inches

WoW ~ Week 7

Time to report my Weight on Wednesday once again... This past week wasn't too bad! Last week I started following the food suggestions in Making the Cut by Jillian Michaels. I was able to keep my daily calories between 1200-1400, and never felt hungry. In just four days (Tues-Fri), I lost three pounds! However, with all my running around on Saturday and Sunday, and knowing that Lent was starting today, I didn't count calories over the weekend. After eating too much of Rascal's super yummy First Communion Cake, I got back to my diet on Monday, and even with yesterday being "Fat Tuesday" I still get to report a two pound loss for this week! Now, if only I could keep it up and get back to exercising. That's what I'll be working on this week... Well, that and getting over this cold.

My Summary:

  • Week Seven Weight Loss/Gain: -2 pounds
  • Inches Loss/Gain: -.5 inches
  • Overall Results: -7.5 pounds and -7 inches

A Quick Update

I can't believe it is already Thursday!! It has been a busy week, and I just haven't had the time (or motivation) for blogging. Did you know that if you get Strep Throat bad enough, it can turn into a Kidney infection?? I didn't, but that's what happened to hubby this past week. He is starting to feel better, now that he is on antibiotics.

I just added another prayer request to the side bar (would you consider doing the same??). Please add Elizabeth to your prayers, and Sarah's sweet little Sophia, and please continue to pray for the Hadley's. THANK YOU!!

I did check in over at Regina's yesterday, and was able to report a 1 lb loss this past week! Yay!! Basically it was the pound I gained last week, but not bad considering all the treats we've had around here lately! Even though I haven't had that much time for exercising (I only got to it twice this past week), I have been very good about watching my portion sizes.

I also wanted to let you all know that I had to turn on comment moderation after receiving over 50 spam comments over the last couple days. I guess I haven't been the only one... Very frustrating!! I am still working on deleting them all.

Well, it's time for me to get off the computer and get my children started with their schoolwork. Hopefully I be able to catch up with you all soon. I hope you are all having a great week!

WoW ~ Week 5

The weeks are flying by, and I am late posting for Weight on Wednesday once again... My life has just been so busy! Most of my free time (and then some) has been spent catching up the bookkeeping for my Aunt's Mini-Market. I was almost a year behind, but it is CAUGHT UP!! Wow! THAT was a JOB! I had been working on it every Friday or Saturday and most weeknights after my kids were in bed since the beginning of January. At first I was doing great finding the time to squeeze in exercise, but these past two weeks I pretty much let it go. I was spending even more time in Quickbooks as I started to see the end in sight, not to mention everything else that has been going on.

With all my inactivity and poor meal planning, I wasn't surprised to see that I was up a pound this week, as well as 1/2" in my measurements. I am just happy that it hasn't been more!!

On a positive note, I went back to Old Navy to get a smaller size in a skirt I bought in December. I love it, but it had gotten way too loose! I was able to go 2 sizes smaller!! Yay!!! Those 4 1/2 pounds have made a big difference!

My Summary:

  • Week Four Weight Loss/Gain: + 1
  • Inches Loss/Gain: +.5 inches
  • Overall Results: -4.5 pounds and -6.5 inches
Goals for this week:

Track my exercise, shooting for 30 minutes a day on average, and make a meal plan for this coming week!

WoW ~ Week 4

I had this post ready last night, but forgot to click publish. Oops! =)

I haven't had much motivation or time this past week, and it really showed on the scale this morning... Or could it have been that White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks last night?? Anyhow, I weigh the same as last week. I had better luck with my measurements though, dropping another 1 1/2 inches.

My Summary:

  • Week Four Weight Loss/Gain: ± 0
  • Inches Loss/Gain: -1.5 inches
  • Overall Results: -5.5 pounds and -7 inches
Goals for this week:

Get back on track. My knee is better now, so I plan to resume the 30 day shred. (I was having the best weight loss with that). I also plan on walking at least 3 times.

WoW ~ Week 3

It's Wednesday ALREADY?!? Ugh! I was doing great. I weighed on Saturday, and was down another couple pounds, but I totally blew it Saturday night eating pizza and the scale jumped up FOUR POUNDS! I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. Obviously it did, and I have been working since then to get it off. Thankfully, I can still report a loss for this week, but only 1 pound... I did a bit better with inches lost.

My Summary:
  • Week Three Weight Loss/Gain: -1 pound
  • Inches Loss/Gain: -3 inches
  • Overall Results: -5.5 pounds and -5.5"
Last Week's Goals:
  • Try and get 3 walks in at the track or at home (if the weather is bad) using Walk Away the Pounds Express. [I only walked twice.]
  • Exercise daily using Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred DVD avoiding the squats and possibly "jumping rope" till my knee is better. [This didn't happen... Instead I did her crunches and upper body exercises, avoiding anything using my legs. I can feel a difference, and I am really bummed that I haven't been able to do this.]
  • Resume tracking food and enter it into Spark People. [After the pizza, I dropped the ball on tracking... It really does help though!]
  • Continue watching portion sizes and hopefully make better choices this week. [I was great about this, except for those 3 or 4 pieces of pizza.]
  • Drink MORE water! [I am getting better! My boys have been helping with this, and have been bringing me glasses of water on occasion! I love them!]
This Week's Goals:
  • Lose 2.5 pounds! Can I do it?

WoW ~ Week 2

Wednesday sure came around quick!! I didn't do as bad as I thought I might. Even though we ate out and had cake a couple times, I was really conscious about portion size and snacking. I think that might be what saved me from having a gain this week... It could have happened very easily. Instead I am down another 2 pounds which is encouraging. I just might be able to DO THIS!!

My Summary:
  • Week Two Weight Loss/Gain: -2 pounds
  • Inches Loss/Gain: +1" (Half of this is in my arm, probably due to increasing the weight on my hand weights -- THANKS CHRISTINE!-- so I'm not too upset...)
  • Overall Results: -4.5 pounds and -2.5"
Last Week's Goals:
  • Continue exercising each day using the DVD [I was able to do this until Sunday. I hurt my knee on Saturday-- either doing squats or possibly playing Wii? Anyhow, I tried Sunday but I just couldn't do it. I've given my knee a break and will resume soon... I was really dissapointed about this, since I was doing so good getting it in each day -- for 10 days anyways.]
  • Take the kids for a walk [We went last Wednesday.]
  • Track food every day, and work on making better choices [I did great with this until we started eating out over the long weekend. I wrote down what I ate, but didn't figure out the calories :P -- Protien drinks for Breakfast, Steak Fajitas (ate half), Chocolate Cake (1 piece Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!), Guacamole Bacon Cheeseburger with Garlic Fries (ate half Friday night and the other half on Saturday), Carrot Cake (2 pieces), Cold Stone Ice Cream (Shared the small size with hubby), KofC Breakfast on Sunday but I only ate the eggs and sausage! I also had a number of pieces of biscotti with a Cup of Hot Cocoa while reading Sunday night... YIKES!!]
  • Eat Breakfast [I was good about this and had Protien shakes for breakfast.]
  • Drink more water, at least 8 glasses each day. [I'm still not drinking enough, but getting better. Why is it easier to drink more water at Restaurants?]
This Week's Goals:
  • Try and get 3 walks in at the track or at home (if the weather is bad) using Walk Away the Pounds Express.
  • Exercise daily using Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred DVD avoiding the squats and possibly "jumping rope" till my knee is better.
  • Resume tracking food and enter it into Spark People.
  • Continue watching portion sizes and hopefully make better choices this week.
  • Drink MORE water!

Walking at the Track

Last spring I use to walk the track at the local Middle School with a friend, while our children played together... Unfortunately she moved, and I have just not been that motivated. However, yesterday, since we were in town already, we decided to go for it and check that off the list. It was so much fun and so nice to be out in the sun! I kept having to remind myself that it is still January!

We were all thrilled when 3 of my brothers showed up! (One of the benefits to living in a small town and coming from a big family!!)

They played with Captain and Rascal, and occasionally joined me and my stroller full of little ones.

Before long, Snuggles was fast asleep in his big sister's arms and I had made it around 8 times (2 miles).

Today is just as beautiful, so I am going to log off and head outside for some more sunshine. I am sure winter will be returning soon!

WoW ~ Week 1

Well, it is Wednesday already, and time to report my weight gain/loss for this past week. The week went better than I expected, even though I didn't lose as much as I hoped. My goal for the week was to exercise daily. Over the past couple months I had become way too inactive in addition to eating too many sweets, and it was showing! Anyhow, I did it! I just finished my 8th day in a row of the workout. Hip Hip Hurray for me! ;) Day one was hard, day two was next to impossible, and day three was just as bad, but by day four I was starting to get use to the exercise and it wasn't quite as hard to get out of bed in the morning and stand up. Today I am still sore, but it feels good! My weight is only down 2.5 pounds. I was down more earlier this week, but I did host Bunco last night and I am sure that the Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake, Cheesy Sausagy Egg Bake and Peppermint Schnapps Mocha's didn't help this morning when it was time to get on the scale. I had better success with my measurements. Combined, I am down 3.5 inches, including a whole inch around my waist. I have a long ways to go, but it's a start.

My Summary:
  • Week One Weight Loss/Gain: -2.5 pounds
  • Inches Lost: -3.5"
Last Week's Goals:
This Week's Goals:
  • Continue exercising each day using the DVD
  • Take the kids for a walk (we did this once this past week)
  • Track food every day, and work on making better choices (Friday is an exception and I am headed to Red Robin and Coldstone with hubby, for my free burger and ice cream, before we go to a movie. Any suggestions??)
  • Eat Breakfast (I usually feed the kids and forget about myself, then I eat too much later in the day.)
  • Drink more water, at least 8 glasses each day. (I haven't been drinking near enough.)

Before I go, I am adding a "weight" picture for you all... NO, it's not a pre-weight loss picture! It's our hand weights. =)

My girls have wanted to exercise with me (I keep my boys far away from these immodest exercise videos). SO, they found some "hand-weights" for themselves and lined them up next to mine. You should hear them huffing and puffing -- almost as bad as myself! (OH! and yes... I am a wimp... I've only been using 3 pound weights. I'll have to pick up some heavier ones soon. They are all I have.)

Weight on Wednesday

It's back! Regina finally decided to start Weight on Wednesday once again. WoW sure helped me lose some weight last year when I was participating, but after being pregnant, and all the sweets I somehow justified during Thanksgiving and Christmas I gained it all back. So, I will be joining you Regina, and have my weight jotted down, all ready for next week... Anyone else what to join the torture fun?

WoW ~ Starting Over!

**This is probably a really boring post for most all of you... But, I am putting it up anyway, since WOW was really helping me lose weight and eat well earlier this year.  Thanks Regina for getting it going once again! I need it!

It has been quite some time since I have posted for WoW (Weight on Wednesday).  I did not do very well over the summer.  I started gaining while on our road trip (it was SO hard to eat well) and continued with way too many cakes all summer!!  It didn't help that Regina took a break from WoW and I wasn't having to report my gains until the last few weeks.... and I conveniently ignored posting here as well! ;)

Well it is time for me to shape up..  literally!!! hee..hee..  I am going to start eating better and exercising.  Not only do I need to lose the weight from the summer (approx 7 pounds as of last Wednesday), I would like to lose another 10+ on top of that, which should be achievable... (unless God has other plans and I find out I am pregnant before that happens--which is usually the case!   I am not, as of Monday, though a number of people asked me if I was this past week--and honestly, I was wondering myself!) ... In fact, another friend asked me last night at Bunco... My summer weight gain must be really noticeable! ;)

Even though I would like to lose weight, what I really need to focus on is increasing my energy and getting more rest.  I have been SO tired, but at the same time, I can't sleep.  I think I have gotten maybe 15 hours of sleep in the last 3 nights.  Since I haven't been sleeping, I have been drinking lots of coffee, which is probably what is keeping me awake at night!

Ok, so here are my goals for this week
  • Exercise for 10 minutes before bed each night. (My chiropractor seems to think this will help me sleep better.)
  • Do some sort of exercise program/video 2 times.  (3 would be better, but I want to try and start slow and realistically)
  • Eat some protein with breakfast.  Preferably a protein shake (as long as it is dairy, sugar, banana, and blueberry free).
  • Cut out coffee.  Is it possible?  I had a cup of green tea this morning.
Weight Gain/Loss since last Wednesday:
  • -2 pounds Wahoo! Only 5 more to go to be my pre-summer weight!

What happened to Weight on Wednesday??

It looks like the Weight on Wednesday group pretty much fell apart while I was out of town... That's why I didn't give you my weight gain/loss on Wednesday.

So, since some of you have asked how my diet went while traveling, I thought I would give you an update anyways.

It was really hard to eat well PERIOD while traveling, let alone stick to my diet, but overall I did pretty well, considering. I decided to just try and avoid the items that I am either severe or moderately intolerant to, and not worry about the mild category. This opened up quite a few foods that I could eat.

I found that it was much easier to pick up something at the grocery store for myself, versus eating out, and so I did that quite often.

However, I still gained... But only 3 pounds during those 3 weeks, so I am not that upset about it. I'll lose it now that I am home again, and not sitting in the car so much--just at the computer! ;)

I actually deserve those 3 pounds, since I totally cheated a few times.

On the drive out we stopped at a Starbucks, and trying to follow my diet, I ordered a Sugar-Free Hazelnut Soy Latte. It was disgusting! Not to mention, it cost a small fortune... So our next coffee stop on the way home after dealing with the flu, I splurged and had a Venti White Chocolate Mocha. It was delicious! (Though I didn't feel too good afterwards.)

Also, when we were in Stockton/Lodi, CA on the last day, before leaving town, I talked my hubby into stopping by Cottage Bakery. I have very fond memories of this certain bakery from my childhood, and was so excited to hear that they were still in business, though they had moved locations.

One particular memory includes my Grandmother showing up, while my mom was in labor with my sister Jamie, with Coffee Cake and Sparkling Apple Cider, and we had a little celebration as soon as Jamie was born. (My mom had mostly home births.) Oh, how I miss my Grandma! She passed away at the young age of 61 when I was only 12. I was her oldest grandchild, and we were very close.

I ended up buying a few different Coffee Cakes, some Dutch Crunch Rolls, and a dozen pastries. Oh, and a couple more mocha's too, one for hubby and one for me! I am sure all 3 pounds are a result of this one particular stop.

As we were driving home that day, I complained that I was hungry and reached for another pastry, and hubby said, "there's still some more grapes..." I replied, "Oh, that's alright, I can't have grapes..." We both started laughing at the irony of it all, as I sat there eating a cream filled pastry. :)

So there you have it... My WoW update for the last month.

Here is my summary:
  • Weeks thirteen to sixteen: +3 pounds (though I have already lost a pound since Wed.)
  • Total lost in WoW: -5 pounds
Goals for this week:
  • Go to the grocery store today, and get back on my diet!
  • Oh... and pick up some more Coconut Bliss!

I would send you over to Regina's to see everyone else's results, but she hasn't posted this week... Sorry!

WoW ~ Week 12

I have actually been looking forward to today since Saturday!!! My new diet is amazing -- other than the fact that it totally stinks to cut out sugar!

This week, I am down another 2.5 pounds, my energy is up (thank goodness 'cause I have a ton to do!), and the cold I caught from the kids didn't turn into bronchitis for once! If I can keep this up, I could hit my goal in less than 2 months. However, I am not really sure how the next three weeks will go since I will be traveling. I have yet to figure out what I can order at any of the fast food places... I mean really, what can you get when chicken and lettuce are not an option? "UM... let's see, I'd like a hamburger, minus the ketchup, mustard, onion, lettuce and bun. Thanks! Oh, and can you add a tomato to that?" ;) I guess I better plan on bringing a cooler.

I have found a new treat though!!! On Monday, when I was in town, I went into the health food store to pick up some more dates... I had really been wanting something sweet. I nearly died when the girl inside the door was offering samples of ice cream! Noooooo!!! I love ICE CREAM!!! How was I going to turn it down? I said, "Oh, no thanks, I can't have dairy...." She said, "It is dairy free! It is made with coconut milk!" REALLY!!! I then asked, "Does it have sugar in it?" (As I picked up the container to look at the ingredients!) Nope!!! NO SUGAR!!! It was sweetened with Agave Syrup, which I can have. The very last ingredient was vanilla, darn... Oh well! The two biggies were out of the way, I was going to try some! It was heavenly, and so deliciously creamy! It is, of course, high in fat and calories... But, supposedly coconut fat is a "good for you" fat, and at this point, I DON'T CARE, this stuff is good for my morale!!! I bought 3 pints -- 2 of which are already gone... and I STILL LOST WEIGHT! I can do this!

This weeks summary:
  • Week twelve progress: -2.5 pound
  • Total lost in WoW: -8 pounds
Goals for this week:
  • Make a list of foods that will be easy to eat while traveling.
  • Find a way to make Coconut Bliss at home without the vanilla! (It only has like 5 ingredients, so it shouldn't be too hard!)

To see everyone else's results this week, head over to Regina's!

Wow ~ Week 11

Aaahhh! It has been a busy couple days, and I finally have a free moment to sit down at the computer.

First of all, THANK YOU for the prayers you all offered for our family, especially my hubby. The procedure went well yesterday... However, they did remove a "colitis" (I think that is what he called it) and sent it in for a biopsy. The doc will meet with hubby again in 2 weeks. I would appreciate any prayers you could send our way as we wait for the results. Thank you!

Last night was also Bunco night! (I had to take Snuggles with me so hubby could rest, but he actually did fine this time!) It was a blast! In fact, I actually won the prize for most Buncos! It was an awesome prize too -- a Glass Margarita, including a pitcher and 8 glasses. I LOVE it! (I actually oohed and aahed over it the last time I was at Costco!) I don't think I have ever won 1st place before... Usually I win the prize for the biggest "loser!" ;)

Speaking of being the biggest loser... This was my week!! Ok... So I wasn't THE biggest loser, but it has been my best week to date for weight loss! I lost 2.5 pounds!! (Even more if I would have had to post last Friday's weight!) I'm so excited!! And to think I was ready to quit last week.

Part of the 2.5 pounds is the weight I had gained over the last few weeks, but, with today's weigh in, I have finally hit my last pre-pregnancy weight! Now to move on to the weight gained with the girls. :)

Unlike last week though, I am starting to feel like my goal is achievable, thanks to the Food Sensitivity Test I had done. Last Friday I received my results, and was amazed to see the list of foods that my body does not tolerate.

Almost every item that I had been eating the last couple weeks, fell into either my "Severe Intolerance" category, or into my "Moderate Intolerance" category. Here I thought I was eating healthy--for the most part, and was in actuality making myself a death drink for breakfast! ;)

I got off those items completley on Friday, and switched to eating whatever and however much of the items in my Green (No intolerance) category, and dropped close to 4 pounds over the weekend. It has got to be those foods causing my weight gain!

The challenge will be finding foods to eat that my body will tolerate. Dairy and Sugar are out for sure... I never realized how just about everything has sugar in it!

Well, speaking of food, it is time for me to go make dinner now. I hope you all are having a great week so far, and hopefully I will be able to catch up with you all soon!

This weeks summary:
  • Week eleven progress: -2.5 pound
  • Total lost in WoW: -5.5 pounds
Goals for this week:
  • Continue eliminating the foods that my body doesn't like.
  • EXERCISE... It's going to be a crazy week, so I am shooting for twice.

WoW ~ Week 10

Well... I got on the scale this morning and said, "That's it... I quit!!!"

I was UP another 1.5 pounds, which makes for an overall gain of 2 pounds in the last 3 weeks, and a grand total of a whopping THREE POUNDS LOST in the last TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!!!

Yep... I was seriously ready to quit... and depressed about it too! In fact, I even left Regina a comment letting her know that I was quiting. :) That comment inspired Michelle, who is doing awesome, to pay me a visit and leave me a comment on last weeks post. She said:
I just saw your post over at Regina's blog. Don't quit! If you had a setback, you can recover. If it's tough because of nursing, I'm with you. And recovering from baby #6 is just simply harder, too, let me tell you. You've been doing fine. You can keep it up. Just have patience, honey.
Thank you Michelle, I needed to hear that. And, I wasn't really going to quit! I just haven't taken any CraveArrest since Friday -- and it is catching up with me. It really does help control not only my cravings, but my mood swings as well... To top it off, it hasn't been the easiest week to be dieting... I traveled out of state, was slightly stressed about losing my cameras, and definitely drank way too many Venti White Chocolate Mochas in an attempt to calm my nerves! YIKES!!! 630 calories each!! I'm lucky I didn't gain even more.. I guess I should have checked the calorie content, before ordering them each day of my trip. Oh! And that bag of Moose Munch didn't help either, I sure! What is it about traveling that makes one feel like it is ok to eat junk? I have to cut that out!!!

OK... Enough excuses. I have another trip coming up in two weeks, so I will start over tomorrow right now! I would love to be able to lose at least 5 pounds (of my 20 pound goal). Wish me luck!

WoW ~ Week 9

Well... Up until yesterday I was doing good. Yesterday morning I was down 1.5 pounds... However, it looks like that big Italian dinner ruined it. The pasta was just too yummy! So, this morning I was only down a half a pound. I wasn't even able to lose the whole pound I gained next week. You would think that between eating healthy, and nursing a baby, it would be easier to lose weight! Oh well. I did have my blood drawn this morning, to be tested for allergies. I am very curious to see my results!!! I also really need to focus on exercising more--as in EVERY DAY! That was how I finally lost the weight the last time. There is just so much I would rather be doing... Like blogging for example! ;)

This weeks summary:

  • Week five progress: -0.5 pound
  • Total lost in WoW: -4.5 pounds
Goals for this week:
  • Make healthy food choices while traveling.
  • Exercise for 30 minutes on both Monday and Tuesday.
On a positive note... Those 4.5 pounds have made a difference!!! While we were in town this morning for Captain's Auditory Processing class we went to the mall. I wanted to see if I could find a new shirt. (You should have seen the looks on the employees faces when I wheeled the jogging stroller carrying 3 kids through the door, with 2 more hanging off the sides!) I ended up trying on a ton of cute clothes and found a few cute new tops, as well as a few new skirts!!! It is so nice to have real clothes fit again!! The strange thing is, my size is all over the place... Of the 4 skirts I brought home, one is a size 10 (which I am taking back since hubby doesn't like it), two are size 8, and one is a size 6 (it's my favorite!!!). All the same brand too! Isn't that weird? I'll have to take a couple pictures for you to see! :)

Anyhow, head over to Regina's to see everyone else's results.

WoW ~ Week 8

So depressing... In TWO MONTHS, I had only been able to lose 5 pounds, and to top it off, this week I gained one of those pounds back! Argh... Not even my usual measly half a pound! It's all Regina's fault for inviting us to Cold Stone. If only I could follow her example, and turn down the ice cream. But then again, it's just so yummy!

I really don't want to talk about it so here is the summary ;)
  • Week five progress: +1 pounds
  • Total lost in WoW: -4 pounds
Goals for this week:
  • Try to accomplish last weeks goals. :)
  • And LOSE 3 pounds. (The one I gained this week, plus two more to make up for lost time...) It can be done, right??
Head over to Regina's to see everyone else's results.

WoW ~ Week 7

It has been just a crazy day, and I just realized that I forgot to post for WoW (Weight on Wednesday). I did check in over at Regina's this morning, but thought I would post here as well, now that all the kids are sleeping!

This week, by some small miracle, I am down another half pound... I seriously thought I would have to report a gain this week. My food choices were horrible... But then, I only ate half of that burger and fries my dad shared with me, and only half of that half gallon of ice cream that was just sitting in the freezer, and only half of that extra large pepperoni pizza that hubby brought home Sat night--he worked overtime and then came home with dinner and a movie for the 2 of us... It was so nice! But, see what I mean, I really should have gained!

I was sick last week, and I did move quite a bit of furniture around on Saturday and Monday, so that saved me! I better shape up this week though!

My goals for this next week:
  • Walk at least twice.
  • Head out to my parents to use their sauna again.
  • Schedule appointment for Allergy testing.
  • Start using SparkPeople again.
Summary:
  • Week five progress: -0.5 pounds
  • Total lost in WoW: -5 pounds
