From Sea to Shining Sea

“It will be celebrated... with pomp and parade... bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other.” - John Adams

While we had a simple celebration out here on the west coast, the older boys spent the 4th of July visiting battlefields with their cousins over on the east coast! One of their uncles was able to drive up from his parish and join them as well! The last time we saw him was last year on the 4th of July when he flew out and baptized our baby girl. The year has flown by!
