Please Pray

Please pray for the soul of Fr. Kenneth Walker, FSSP (pictures from his First Mass in 2012 here) who was shot and killed during a robbery at the Mater Misericordiae (Mother of Mercy) Mission in Phoenix, AZ.  Please pray for the family of Fr. Walker.  Please pray for Fr. Joseph Terra, who is in critical condition but stable.  Please pray for all the families who attend Mater Misericordiae. Please pray for the safety of all FSSP priests.   (Update: Pray For The Priests of Mater Misericordiae in Phoenix on FSSP website)

Requiem aeternum dona ei Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei.
Requiescat in Pace. Sacerdos in Aeternum. Amen.

  2. Our parish was robbed here several weeks ago in the night. Thankfully no one was hurt. This is just heartbreaking to hear. Our family will certainly pray for all those affected and I will share this over on my page as well. Thank you for letting us know of this tragedy.

  5. We knew Fr. Terra 20 years ago when he served at our parish. Breaks my heart. He is a good and holy man as I'm sure Fr. Walker was, as well.

  8. We've known Fr. Terra for a long time before he became a FSSP priest. He is an awesome priest. He also married us 13 years ago just this week. God bless all of our priests and keep them safe from harm. May their Guardian angels protect them.
