St Therese has my heart. She is my confirmation saint and her intersession through her novenas is the reason I have my 2 blessings from heaven!
You inspired me to step out of my laziness and make a rose apple pie. I think I realize for the first time why you feel called to celebrate the saints through the art of cooking. It is a grace filled activity when it reminds you of the saint's life!
The journal would be a great way for me to record my journey this year teaching Bella her faith through home schooling.

My oldest daughter is in love with Saint Therese! She once gave me 5 roses…….three red, two yellow, and one white. When I asked for her intercession, I had asked three questions. The answer for number one was to be 3 red roses, for number two I asked her to send 2 yellow, and for number three I asked her to send one white. I never imagined the answer would be yes to all three. 🙂 holinessisforeveryone at gmail dot com

Last night I attended mass at a parish that had prayed the novena all week long. At the opening of mass they precess with a statue of St. Therese., when they walk under the dome of the church roses petals fall from the dome as I'm sure many graces fall from heaven. It was a beautiful evening as the novena ended durning mass and we prayed a Litany of St. Therese and sang some songs about her…. There was a reception afterwards in the church hall, you rose apples would have been a hit!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
