Today was the feast of St. Maximilian Kolbe! Our day was rather busy, but when Charlotte posted a link to her St. Maximilian Kolbe coloring page, I just had to print out a couple copies for our little ones. They had so much fun coloring their pictures of St. Maximilian Kolbe for the first time...
...while the older children read St. Maximilian Kolbe: The Story of the Two Crowns!
As you can see, Rose seems to have a very different style when it comes to coloring than the rest of her siblings!
(Here is a link to pictures of our four oldest coloring this same coloring page on August 14, 2009.)
Thank you Miss Charlotte!
"There will be sufferings, temptations; perhaps you will be haunted by discouragement... learn to be ready for the greatest sacrifices... do not desire extraordinary things, but simply to perform the will of the Immaculata..."
- St. Maximilian Kolbe
Rose had to be sure to use as many shades of "pink-uh" as possible . God bless them :)
