... arrived in the mail this afternoon, on the first of two very special days! I love the little ways in which the Holy Spirit is always working in our lives.
God is good... all the time!
Note: The author of this book, who kindly and generously gifted me with a copy of Saint Christopher following my post about their Saint Catherine of Alexandria book, has offered a special to my visitors here at Shower of Roses. If you would like to order any of the books from Potamatis Publishing, they will refund 10% and ship the books at no charge! Just mention that you "found them from Shower of Roses!"
I received a special book today in the mail too!! It brought tears to my eyes, just reading the title!! I'd never heard of it. Beautiful book. Thank you so very much Jessica!! God bless you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it arrived, and I was more than happy to send it to you! It's perfect for your precious little man! :)
DeleteWhere's the "like" button? :)
DeleteVery beautiful book, and candle ...
ReplyDeleteQue Dieu vous bénissent !
The candle is actually the one that you sent to us! I love it!! And I found the "candle sleeve" while I was out shopping the other day. :)
DeleteMany prayers for you and your family as you celebrate your saints in heaven. God Bless you.
ReplyDeleteThank you! May God bless you and your family too!
DeleteGod constantly blesses us with little miracles, we have but to notice them!
ReplyDeleteSo, so true!!
DeleteThey have some beautiful publications on hard-to-find saints. We have the booklet The Story of the Vasilopita (St. Basil) which I like to read on the feast of St. Basil(January 2). It is small--a nice stocking stuffer or little gift for the "12 Days of Christmas." "The Nativity of Christ" and "The Gifts of the Magi" are also beautiful little booklets and nice stocking stuffers. I like to use the booklets to teach kids about "reading icons."

Thank you for the suggestions! I will have to look into them.
DeleteWhat age would you say this book is geared to? Would it be a good read aloud book for preschool/kindergarten age? I am looking for a good St. Christopher book for my boys to help them learn about the saint we will be asking to watch over their daddy while he.is deployed.
ReplyDeleteMy Kindergartner did enjoy listening to the Saint Christopher book. If you'd like to preview it you can listen to an audio version here: Christopher Part 1 and Christopher - Conclusion
DeleteYou can also preview the pages of the book on the publisher's website.
We will say a prayer for your husband, and you!! God bless you all!
