I only have a moment, as I still have quite a bit to prepare as we get ready to welcome a whole bunch of little girls for an afternoon Tea Party, but I wanted to pop in here real quick to post a picture of our
beautiful birthday girl!
Also, here is a sneak peek at her requested 3-D "Tea Pot" Birthday Cake... The thought and anticipation of trying to make this cake was actually giving me nightmares! However, last night - after it was completed, and safely tucked away in the fridge - I slept well. I was so pleased (Perhaps because I had such low expectations!) with how pretty it turned out!!!
Happy 8th Birthday,
Twinkle Toes!!
Happy blessed birthday to your sweet daughter!! That cake is wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what it looks like cut into!! (and how you cut into it!)
Have a fun day!!!
What a darling cake! Happy Birthday to Twinkle Toes!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Twinke Toes! I LOVE the cake! I enjoy making my children's birthday cakes and find great ideas and how-to videos on the internet. I am going to have to put this one on file for my little girl for a future birthday party.
ReplyDeleteperfect, pretty and love the shade of pink.
ReplyDeleteOoh, how neat! Do you make the round teapot shape by baking cakes in two round casserole dishes and then putting them together to make a sphere? It looks like it would be lots of fun to make - although possibly challenging! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Twinkle Toes! You are amazing, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!!! What an adorable cake!! Great job Jessica! If you get a chance could you share how you made this? Have a fun party.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kirsten

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cake, Jessica! I think it is so special to make homemade birthday cakes for your children, but mine haven't turned out as lovely as yours yet! :) Maybe with a few more years practice!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your beautiful Twinkle Toes!

Sarah
Thank you all for the birthday wishes for our sweet girl, and for all your kind comments on the cake!
ReplyDeleteI didn't take that many pictures during the process - at least not that I remember, maybe I did - but I'll take a look at what I have and see if I can put it all into a post.
Hopefully I will have a chance to post pictures from the party too... It was such a special day!
