… and so thankful to have made it this far without complications!
We are all getting very excited to meet our newest little girl…
It won’t be too much longer!

Oh, and inspired by Josette to wear something green for a change,
even if it isn’t in my “color palette.”

You look just beautiful! I always loved being pregnant even with all the nausea and throwing up! I would love to have an eighth but fear I am getting too old. Thankful, though, for the seven healthy kids I have and await hopefully meeting my six miscarried babies someday.

    May God bless you. Rest!!!

Oh, my gosh, you are just the perfect picture of motherhood! You and baby look so beautiful! I'm sure you are miserable though, sleeping, moving, everything….thinking and praying for you these last few weeks!

Now, is Rose the blog name?
Names are so hard in blog world when we have babies, arent' they?

lol! Thank you all! Perhaps it depends on the shade of green! 🙂 Green is one of my favorite colors.

And yes, Jamie, Rose will be her "blog name". I'm still not comfortable using my children's real names publicly online, though we do have a name chosen for our little Rose and have since the day I found out we were expecting her!

You look fantastic!! 😀 And that color green is very pretty too. I love how you're carrying the baby. It doesn't even look like you've dropped yet. I always carry so low.
Praying for you and the baby in this final stage. Almost there!

May God bless you and your little one.

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
