My Summary:
- Week One Weight Loss/Gain: -2.5 pounds
- Inches Lost: -3.5"
- Begin WoW for the 3rd time ;)
- Exercise daily using Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred
DVD
This Week's Goals:
- Continue exercising each day using the DVD
- Take the kids for a walk (we did this once this past week)
- Track food every day, and work on making better choices (Friday is an exception and I am headed to Red Robin and Coldstone with hubby, for my free burger and ice cream, before we go to a movie. Any suggestions??)
- Eat Breakfast (I usually feed the kids and forget about myself, then I eat too much later in the day.)
- Drink more water, at least 8 glasses each day. (I haven't been drinking near enough.)
Before I go, I am adding a "weight" picture for you all... NO, it's not a pre-weight loss picture! It's our hand weights. =)
My girls have wanted to exercise with me (I keep my boys far away from these immodest exercise videos). SO, they found some "hand-weights" for themselves and lined them up next to mine. You should hear them huffing and puffing -- almost as bad as myself! (OH! and yes... I am a wimp... I've only been using 3 pound weights. I'll have to pick up some heavier ones soon. They are all I have.)
To see everyone's stats, or report your own, head on over to Regina's!
Good for you...
ReplyDeleteI love Bunco we play it with my family on Sunday nights - what fun.
I have heard of people having Bunco parties - are they fun?

I'm interested in the movie Valkyrie. If you see it let me know what you and your hubby think. Good job on the workouts!

Thanks for the suggestion Teresa! I have heard of that movie, and forgot about it!! Good idea!
ReplyDeleteBarbara ~ Yes! Bunco parties are fun! I organized a group of 12 women that get together once a month for Bunco and we love it. We each pitch in $5.00 which cover the prizes (you can change the amount however you want) and we each host once per year. Next months hostess is going to have a couples bunco, so we will double the tables (6 instead of 3) and we will all bring our husbands. It's a blast! Whoever hosts provides the food and drink for the night, and the rest of us just show up. (You can do it potluck style, but this is more work on an ongoing basis, and we decided we just wanted to do one month each and be done.) I love that you are moving around all night and visiting with everyone, plus it doesn't take much thought and allows for lots of conversation.
Awesome job Jessica!! I have been wanting to start walking again but it is so bitter cold, it is really hard to get motivated to go out there!
ReplyDeleteAs for movies... Twilight? ;) Seriously, I have been wanting to see Valkyrie too, but I have been disappointed in Tom Cruise movies for so many years now, I am nervous about seeing it in the theater.
Great job, Jessica! Remember, too, that when you first start exercising again you are building muscle as you are losing fat, and because muscle weighs more than fat, you will see the inches come off before the pounds. Great job! I have not yet succeeded in establishing a routine, but I know I need it... I sleep better at night when I've exercised during the day. Some days I just feel like our big staircase is enough, though... especially with laundry baskets for weights! Keep it up! You're doing great!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Jessica! Keep up the excellent work!
ReplyDeleteBedtime stories is a really funny movie. We took our kids, but it would probably provide you and hubby with some great entertainment.
God Bless!
Great job!! I just finished the Fast Track Detox Diet (11 days) and I lost 10 pounds. I have never felt better! I plan to stick with lots more water, fruits and veggies.
ReplyDeleteWe saw Valkyrie and we thought it was well done. It's heavy and sad, but you kind of know that going in!
Hey,I loved Australia! Showing in White city @7:55pm for$4.50! B
ReplyDelete3 lbs weights??? Come'on Jessica those babies weigh tons more that that! I do 10lbs.....sometimes 8. not bragging but you can work up to that soon! Lifting weights are what really tone those muscles!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
