Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

by | Sep 18, 2008 | Home Videos, Little Saints Preschool | 8 comments

This weeks Little Saints theme is “My Five Senses”… This afternoon the girls worked on learning the song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”. It was quite fun, and I thought I would take a second and share a few of the video clips. 🙂 (Just ignore my goofy laugh!)

Rascal wanted to show the girls how it is done:

That is SO cute!!! I am going to have to video tape my kids tomorrow doing that one on their own!! How did you stay quiet? I’d be saying it, I don’t think I could help myself!!

I thought your laugh was cute–it made me smile. It’s fun to hear a little of your voice.

Kids are great! I, myself, can have a little difficulty on which body part to point to next with that song.

I think that’s how I must sound when I laugh too!

These clips are so adorable. The kind I had to show my own kids!

Good luck helping them get their body parts straight!

SO much fun, I know I was giggling the whole time. I like how your boy stepped up to “show’em how its done.” My kids are that age range too, and can’t quite keep up with me and all the silly and sometimes annoying songs I learned growing up and just have to teach them too!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
