Our Irish Baby’s…

… 1st St. Patrick’s Day!!!

Isn’t he sweet!?!?

Snuggles also had his second tooth come in today… Top right. Now if I could just teach him to stop biting!

We had a very fun, full day! I was so disappointed that I forgot my flashcard at home today, but Regina had her camera, so hop on over to her blog to see a cute slide show from this afternoon. The kids had such fun playing Bingo, Petting animals, and breaking Blarney Stones.

After our party, since it was late, and we were still in town, I swapped cars with hubby (so he could take the kids home), then Snuggles and I got busy running errands. It took longer than I hoped, but I’m so happy that my shopping is done, and all the kids Easter treats have been purchased!

Today is also my dear father-in-law’s AND my brother-in-law’s birthdays!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU TWO!

Now, to get those groceries put away…

I’m looking forward to seeing you too!

As far as the kids Easter treats… Their baskets are usually kept fairly simple. They will each be getting a chocolate cross, a little lamb chocolate, another candy each (the girls are getting lamb pez dispensers that are so cute), one small toy each, one book each, and one audio CD each. (The books and CD’s have been sitting in my closet waiting for an opportunity to come out!)

Among other things, I picked up a cute kit for making some Easter Candy!! So.. You will have to come over on Saturday Juliana, and make it with us!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
