Day 8: They are finally on their way home! I can't wait to hear all about the camp.
It looks like they had a lot of fun from this picture my husband just sent.

YAY!!!! Hope they made it home safely! Have a wonderful birthday celebration tomorrow and I hope Captain loves his present - I just thought - it will log with the theme he requested, too! Blessings!

Ha! I clicked over to re-read your comment (thinking I might need yet another cup of coffee today) and saw your second comment. YES! I had considered saving it for Christmas, but it ties in so nicely with this (simple) birthday theme. His birthday gifts are wrapped, but I need to get to the store for some groceries or the rest of my plans might not happen. I've been stalling trying to decide if I want to go now, with all five of the younger kids, or wait until after 10pm tonight when Sean and the boys get back home. . .

You might already be at the store now, but if you take the kids, then you could have them all pick out some "themed items" and they can each have a "dish". Maybe do some "french" foods to tie in??????? You know, that Lego set reminds me a bit of the movie "Ratatouille", but I don't suggest putting a rat in the soup! :) Do you all have any french blood in you? If so, yo could highlight that a bit. You could also do up the pastries!!!!!! :) Maybe find a chef's hat and white jacket (but maybe that's too late now).
DeleteWell, hope it's fun and can't wait to see the cake!!! Blessings!
