This year we had our Mother/Daughter Tea Party in the home garden of the grandmother of one of my Little Flowers! Our menu was almost the same as last year, with just a few changes.
~ Drinks ~
Tea served with Cream and Sugar
Ice Water
~ The First Course ~
Grapes ~ Strawberries ~ Scones
Served with Whipped Cream, Apricot Jam, and Lemon Curd
Oh, YUM!! I had been craving Kathleen's Lemon Curd since last year!
~ The Second Course ~
Tortilla Roll Ups ~ Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Salami and Cream Cheese Sandwiches
~ The Third Course ~
Brownies ~ Cream Puffs
Lemon Tea Cookies
Just like last year, my friend Trina (who is due next month with her 7th!) also volunteered to coordinate and supervise the servers for us, and we were served by four very sweet girls who are also all Little Flowers! (Two are Trina's daughters and two are older sisters to two of our own Little Flowers!) Thank you all so very much for your help!!
Well, our contractors just arrived and I have a mountain of laundry to get started from the past few days, so I'll be back later today, or perhaps tomorrow, with a few more pictures and our Tea Party Games.
I hope you all have a great day!
It looks so pretty and fun!

ReplyDeleteJessica, the Little Flowers´ meetings are so beautiful! Are they organized by your church or your private initiative? I would love to start something like this here in Germany (starting with the Blue Knights :) ) Any advice?
ReplyDeleteMagdalena ~ Here is a link to one of my old posts with all the information about our group:

Incredible! I wish my hands were more "kitchen friendly", the food looked perfect! The kids must love this :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jessica for your link - and patience, I am sorry I didn´t see the link on the main page earlier!
ReplyDeleteOh your welcome! I would have typed up more of a response earlier, but was in a hurry and it was just easier to link to the post :-)
ReplyDeleteIt would be so neat if you could start a Blue Knights Group for your little guy when he is a little older. Blue Knights & Little Flowers are such wonderful clubs for children.
Mary ~ The food was great! We have 10 girls in our group right now, so each girl was assigned just one of the 10 menu items. It worked out perfectly!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so wonderful! I'm looking forward to our luncheon on Wed. afternoon. You show such beautiful surroundings, serving dishes, etc. Ours won't be near that precious, but hopefully it will be a fun time and fond memory for the girls and the moms :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great!!! You have been really busy!
