How appropriate!

Did you know that tomorrow is National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day? I didn’t, but thanks to Dawn–she is always on top of this kind of thing–I do now!

Dawn has a couple of great ideas of things to do with the kids that I think we will just have to try!! Thank you Dawn!

She even recommended a little quiz–and you all know how I can’t pass up one of those! So…

You Are Easter

You are an optimistic, hopeful, and genuinely sweet person.

Sensitive and affectionate, you are easily touched.

You love nature, animals, and anything cute or cuddly.

For you, every day is a new chance – no matter what happened yesterday.

What makes you celebrate: Almost anything. You love most holidays and celebrations.

At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The peacemaker. You can prevent any squabbles that might break out.

On a holiday, you’re the one most likely to: Remember to include everyone

So, which holiday are you, and what holiday would you create if you could?? I’d love to know!

Well… I am off to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet, tuck the little ones into bed, and then watch a movie with hubby. Now that lent is over, it is so nice to watch movies again–hubby & I went out to dinner and a movie (for his birthday) last night too!!! 🙂 Anyhow, have a wonderful night!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
